Earth Song – Single

The idea that Earth is a living organism may be as old as humankind. The ancient Greeks called her Gaia and referred to her as a goddess. Scottish Historian James Hutton, the “father of modern geology” taught that the earth should be studied as a “super-organism” and the proper study field for that became “Physiology”. In the 1980’s more and more science literature began presenting the ever evolving theory that earth is indeed a “living organism” and begin arguing that modern society must develop more awareness regarding how to treat earth as a living being. Its been the wrong kind of selfishness that has gotten us to suffer needlessly and as a result we’ve noticed the karmic consequences ever since. “Into The Frequency” a Trip hop Electronica duo from LA realized that if Earth had a voice they would feature her on the recording of their new single release “Earth song”.

Back in September 2017 I felt the need to give earth a voice to express her possible inner feelings in words. The 1st verse lyrics says- “Your world is suffering, and my body is crying asking stop polluting me…” these are very emotionally charged and compelling lyrics and the idea behind them was to create a feeling of urgency, rectifying the collective actions. Being a peaceful activist and finding an outlet for my causes in songwriting, being a part of “Into The Frequency” I decided to release “Earth song” during the Corona Virus days in order to inspire others to be even more compassionate and conscienceless towards earth.
