Sound Medicine Journey March 21, 2024

First meeting, we follow each other along a narrow path amongst a sea of lush nature. Down to a tall cabin. Home fires burning. Feels as though this space has been expecting me. Comforts of coziness are available once inside. After Ruti shares some of what to expect and how she came to this offering and her desire to connect and the gift I am unknowingly about to receive. She plays a sample of the 432hz frequency. My mind struggles with superficial burdens at first. What should I be expecting, focusing on, exploring, how should my body be positioned. The music ends, my first few deep breathes feel uncomfortable and difficult, then more fluid. Closing my eyes as the music begins again. The sound is like nothing I have heard before, but I know I am enjoying it. Ruti is channeling an invitation to me. An invitation to be myself. Within this  space Ruti has created a safe, nurturing sanctuary. I feel this from her presence. The walls and height of the ceiling of the structure represent strength & upward growth. Strong feelings of good intentions are felt thru this invitation from Ruti to be myself. Like a portal to my inner self. This spirit within Ruti whispering to me, it’s absolutely safe to be yourself.

Eyes closed, I am imagining actual fences disappearing to reveal a flat intimate space beyond, with no end. Infinity. I say fences and not walls because visually that’s what my imagination showed me. As if to say, you know and you see who you are, you’ve always known you were, you have never been lost. You’ve just been restricted. You have always been on this journey. I say flat because there are no obstacles, no barricades, no mountains to climb in my journey ahead. Initially I feel pain and hurt that I have been carrying with me in my heart. A few solid tears, without any change in my facial expression, somewhat spring from my right eye. Softly falling on my cheek. In slow motion, one at a time. It feels like I’m setting the hurt aside or letting it go intentionally to allow myself to be free to explore me, what makes me, not what breaks me. 

Channeling my energy to the present sounds and experience, and without hesitation, the frequency, the love is flowing. I am on a journey. My desire to learn &  to be confident are growing in a way I have never felt before. I am the Creator. I can move freely as I design myself, guided by my passions in life. At times I notice the music softening and fading. This creates anticipation and excitement within me to reveal more of myself. The corners of my mouth begin to curl upward very slowly and steadily. Creating a natural smile and intense joy in my heart. It feels like my soul is smiling. I sense light reflecting within me. 

This time when the music comes to a pause, my deep breathes are in sync with Ruti’s. They are deeper, more intentional, and an extension of the mind blowing gift I have just received. Almost breathing myself into my body. After the sound session and sharing specifics of the journey shared, I feel a craving to hear more, experience more, live more. More of me. 

Without a doubt the most strengthening, educational, and life changing awareness of self and connection I have ever had and I am truly grateful.

I knew I was witnessing something magical from the first moment I heard RutiCelli play her cello. The music radiated throughout my body in such a moving and positive way and I left the show with a knowing that I had to find out more about this artist who was bringing  so much light & depth to the world with her performance. I’ve been a big fan ever since that first show and have enjoyed seeing her play with such a wide variety of other artists. Her many years of classical training and talent is im mediately evident in that she can play fantastically, such a wide range of music, but the coolest part is when she does improvisation and channels the music straight from her soul, in the moment. RutiCelli music is powerful, healing, and her words are nourishing. A few days ago I was admitted into the E.R as I was experiencing immense stomach pains. A few days later, I was admitted again and was diagnosed with gastritis (stomach ulcers). The pain continued, however with the help of Ruti’s “Intimate Cello livestream No. 12 “Courage” on Youtube, I was able to heal on a soul level. I had the courage to embrace the pain and even dealt with resolving a lot of trauma during several transformational experiences. You’ve been guiding and teaching me the entire way through. Through the darkness, I can finally see the light and know everything is going to be alright. Your music is powerful and your words and nourishing. Thank you so much for bringing me comfort and healing me during this time. The last one occurring at a recent concert she performed at Sebastopol CA at the Barlow. I was going through a tough experience, however being in the grass with my blanket and tapped into her music help me get through another tough experience.
