Some “Seeds” Are Too Expensive to Scatter

Have you ever felt an energy inside you that is alive, playful, maybe even flirty- and realized it has power? Not everyone knows how to hold it, and not every space is meant to receive it. This piece is about discovering where my attention, my aliveness, and my most precious “seeds” actually belong- and what it means to offer them without losing myself…

The Spark of Energy...

When I feel inspired by someone- the way they think, the way they express, the way they move energy- my body responds instantly. I open. I get playful. I get a little flirty, even. Not in a calculated way, but as a natural overflow of aliveness. Have you ever felt yourself light up in someone’s presence- just because of who they are- and wondered what to do with that energy?

Amplifying Others…

For a long time, I didn’t question this. It felt innocent. It is innocent. But I’m starting to see that innocence doesn’t mean neutrality. Because when I express that kind of energy toward someone, something happens. They feel seen. They feel amplified. Sometimes, they feel elevated. What happens when the person you reach for isn’t ready to meet you where you are?

Expensive Seeds

I’ve always thought of myself as someone who gives freely- attention, curiosity, presence, recognition. But I’m beginning to understand that what feels natural to me has impact. My energy doesn’t just express; it enhances. Not every space is worthy of the energy you bring. Which seeds are truly meant to grow, and which should you simply hold for yourself?

Refining Without Dimming

I’m not interested in becoming more guarded. I don’t want to shut down my warmth, my playfulness, my flirtation with life. That would be a loss. But I am interested in becoming more precise. Are my expressions overflowing from me, or subtly reaching for something? Is this space that can meet me, or just enjoy me?

The Shift

I’m starting to understand that my power is not in how much I give. It’s in where I give from, and where I give to. I can still be open. Still be alive. Still meet people with curiosity and spark. How do you offer what you love without expecting anything in return? How do you plant a seed and simply let it be?

Closing

But something in me knows- this is what it looks like to refine energy without dimming it. This is the kind of awareness I’m devoted to- both in my own life, and in the spaces I hold for others.
