Handle All That – Single

 wrote the lyrics to this song after watching an inspiring documentary called “For The Benefit Of All Beings” about the life of Garchen Rinpoche, a Tibetan Buddhist teacher who was captured by the Chinese. At the time many unarmed and harmless people who practiced their religion were imprisoned for their beliefs. The brutal capture of thousands of monks and teachers has been documented in many films. Anyone who cared and spread some of those teachings was in danger. Garchen talks about going through this experience and it is nothing short of breathtaking. He managed to transcend his own negative emotions into compassion, all from his own prison cell.

When Ii watched the film I thought to myself… “how is it possible to handle that”? How can somebody even begin that kind of process of transcending?

Thus the song was born.
